Linda Drummond

Linda  Drummond was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada into a military family. When Linda was two, the family lost their mother and her father, needing help to raise his four children, remarried. Relationships askew, the family grew troubled and Linda’s quest for serenity led her to study people, more specifically relationships, so that she could resolve the issues that plagued her family. Helpless, she threw herself into what she could: playing the piano, school sports and drama as a way of escape. Linda left home at her father’s last posting in Chilliwack, BC after graduating high school at Sardis Senior High School. This childhood laid the groundwork for a lifetime of troubled adult relationships.

The time never seemed right for a formal education for Linda, who married at a young age to a military man who Linda accompanied on a five year overseas posting. By her return in 1980, she had two children and was on her way to a divorce. After the birth of her third child and a stormy second married that ended in divorce, Linda put what was left of her life in order so that she could raise her children. Linda eventually had another relationship that also ended badly.

It was while overseas that Linda picked up her first set of tarot cards and used them as a tool to gain insight into her own relationships. It was not long before she was reading for others, not often, but very precisely. A childhood of watching people prepared her for recognizing what she saw in the cards. Her formative years of using the tarot included spreads that left Linda wanting more and that quest led her to find the largest spread that she could find; the Gypsy Tarot Spread.

Since then, Linda has studied the Gypsy Tarot Spread, reading for so many people that she started to see many repeating patterns. One of the patterns was what Linda believed to be spirits and began to wonder if these spirits had once been alive. After her introduction to the fascinating world of computers, another of Linda’s passions, and the Internet, she conducted an online study looking for validation that spirits were showing up. After over 100 online readings for strangers, she concluded that spirits were not only showing up in the cards but attended readings regularly and she learned to sense their presence. After this, it seemed that the spirits sent her people who needed closure or to receive a message through by way of an Internet chat program. These spirits were often loved ones that had passed away.

The spirits began to channel messages through her and Linda’s understanding of relationships grew immensely. It was during this time that she recognized the need for people to help themselves, to be in touch with their spirits, to learn about their relationships, to find direction and find peace with themselves. So Linda began to compile into words what she had been learning all her life and could equate to cards in the Gypsy Tarot Spread and the Synergy Reading Method was born.

Linda driving need to help others find settled relationships has prompted her to write her first book, the Gypsy Tarot Spread Using the Synergy Tarot Method, a book that, at the very least, will help everyone to better understand their relationships and improve them.
